Saudi stocks rise at the end of trading today, led by the industrial investment sector

The Saudi stock indices ended their trading higher today, Wednesday, and the gains were led by the industrial investment sector, the retail sector and the cement companies. At the end of trading, the Saudi general index advanced with gains amounting to about 1.11%.

The number of advancing shares outweighed the number of declining ones, as the number of shares recorded about 133 shares, compared to 22 declining shares, while 23 shares remained stable without change.

The following shares topped the high shares on the general index: The Saudi Industrial Investment Group “SE:2250” came in the forefront with gains estimated at 9,84%, or 1.90 points, to close its trading at 21.20 riyals, while the Saudi Arabian Cooperative Insurance “SE” share continued: 8100” rose to gain 1.35 points, or 6.60%, to end its trading at a price of 21.80 riyals, and the Saudi International Petrochemicals share “SE:2310” advanced by about 6.48%, or a value of 1.05 points, to reach the share at a price of 17.25 riyals at the end of the session. As for the declining Saudi stocks: the share of the National Agricultural Development Company “SE:6010” topped the lowest shares, with losses amounting to about 1.68%, or a value of 0.50 points, to conclude its session at a price of 29.20 riyals, and the share of Al-Hammadi for Development and Investment “SE:4007” decreased by 1.41% To lose 0.60 points, and the stock closed at a price of 41.90 riyals, and the share of Al-Jouf Agricultural Company “SE:6070” decreased by 1.27%, losing 0.40 points, to reach the share price at the closing of 31.20 riyals.

Oil and gold contracts

US crude oil futures “May delivery” rose by 0.21%, to reach the price of a barrel at 48.47 dollars, and Brent contracts “June delivery” rose by 0.33%, to reach the price of 51.59 dollars a barrel, while gold contracts “April delivery” fell. April” increased by 0.22% to reach the price of an ounce at 1252.85 dollars.

Currencies:

The EUR/SAR pair declined by 0.54%, to trade at the level of 4.0329 riyals, while the USD/SAR pair continued to achieve gains by about 0.01%, to trade at the level of 3.7505.

The dollar index contracts rose by 0.36% to trade at 99.89 points.
